Khao Sok or Khoa Sok virgin rainforest dotted by limestone mountain ranges and rugged high cliffs was established as a national park in 1980. Covering an area of approximately 646 square kilometers, the park extends beyond Ban Ta Kun, Phanom and Khiri Ratniyom Districts.
